THE FIRST POST COVID OPTIMIZED DIGITAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Based on 28 scientific studies about user behaviour change during and after covid

Covid has changed the way we use internet and process digital information, and the changes are here to stay.
Designed from the ground up as scalable tech, this product serves as a versatile content publishing platform, blended learning system, and the most user-friendly mobile-first interactive training tool in the Norwegian market.

LEAN/AGILE – AND THE EXTRA STEP IN RESEARCH

With a clearly defined need from the start, we aimed to create a digital learning experience for handling complex pedagogical and psychological situations in kindergartens. This solution distinguishes itself by meeting modern user patterns, respecting users’ time and attention, and being tailored for a specific user group.

In collaboration with pedagogues, UX designers, developers, stakeholders, and user representatives, we began by mapping out personas, pain points, needs, and challenges through extensive workshops. We extended the dataset with focus group interviews and a thorough competition analysis, followed by research on modern user patterns, post-COVID changes, and emerging learning trends and methodologies.

A MODULAR, FLEXIBLE AND INTUITIVE BLENDED LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Using this data, we developed a flexible, modular, blended learning concept that respects time constraints and offers active learning mechanisms, retention methods, and engagement motivations through subtle gamification. After extensive prototyping and user testing with qualitative interviews and a high-level vertical slice prototype, we refined and adapted the design, initiating an iterative development process using agile methods.

Backend systems and the admin framework were developed in parallel. Acceptance and penetration testing were followed by a soft launch and iteration cycles based on real-life feedback.

Even with data collection still in progress, the success of this project is already clear
